The weather in Pretoria is mostly beautiful, but it can change from one minute to the other. From my office window I have a great panoramic view over all of Pretoria and sometimes the sky goes from bright blue to black in less than five minutes and it will tip down for fifteen or so before going back to sunshine.
A few days ago one of the managers of our lovely division went out for his lunch break and one of these sudden rainfalls surprised him – he game back to the office completely soaked! Luckily he is quite a funny guy and took it with a lot of humour: So he took his shirt off and only put a suit jacket on with the collar up. Then he walked around the office with his jacket open showing his chest, posing and claiming that this was the latest fashion trend from Paris! He even did a little catwalk for us! It was hilarious!
Yesterday during lunch it looked like the weather might change again, so this senior manager spend ages walking through the division and telling everyone that we would not get to see another one of his new outfits because he was prepared this time: he smiled and showed us the biggest umbrella I’ve ever seen!
