Soon after take-off on my Qantas flight from Sydney to Bangkok, a friendly steward with oh-so-fashionable totally-oversized nerd glasses handed me a menu outlining "today's food choices". The menu promised "appetizing meals, served on exclusively designed Marc Newson tableware". The menu sounded delicious:
